Sucessful launch from new cross channel service

Model Kelly Brook launched the inaugural sailing of the new ferry route between Dover to Calais run by DFDS Seaways and LD Lines.
She was joined by Carsten Jensen, senior VP of DFDS Seaways, and Christophe Santoni, MD of LD Lines to cut the ribbon, launching the new route.
Champagne corks popped dockside before the ferry Norman Spirit set sail. Accompanying the vessel as it departed was a Port of Dover tug, firing its water cannon and sounding its horn.
The new route will operate up to five times a day. A second vessel and additional sailings will be added to the schedule at a later date.
